For our Rennes site specialized in health nutrition, we are recruiting a Scientific Project Manager in human nutrition.

MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

We are seeking a Scientific Project Manager in human nutrition to join our team of consultants in nutrition, regulatory affairs, and science, consisting of 6 individuals. As a project manager, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with our other project managers to provide unique support to our clients in France and the European Union.

Your main missions:

In the context of client projects focused on themes related to food and health, including files concerning Novel Foods, FSMP, justification of claims, and much more, your missions will be:

  • Conduct proactive scientific monitoring.
  • Conduct an in-depth state-of-the-art analysis and carry out exhaustive bibliographic research.
  • For Novel Foods-related files, coordinate the project team and draft documents, including toxicological aspects.

Based on your monitoring and bibliographic research, you will develop expertise in writing scientific files, scientific arguments, summaries, targeted monitoring, and popular science articles related to various topics such as health food, additives, and ultra-processed foods.

You will be the scientific support to internal teams. In close collaboration with our project managers in innovation, regulation, and R&D, you will provide scientific advice for the design of innovative food products and ingredients (such as enriched foods, products targeting specific populations, medical nutrition, dietary supplements and common foods).

Additionally, you will participate in content creation and contribute to training sessions, as well as conferences and webinars for professionals in the agri-food industry.

As a project manager, you will actively contribute to defining FOODINNOV’s scientific directions, in collaboration with the scientific project manager specialized in food science.

You will be involved in managing client relationships, from the initial prospecting phase to the final project delivery. You will participate in expanding the network and growing the revenue of the consulting business by participating in trade shows, communicating about services, providing quotes, following up, and managing the commercial aspects of a client portfolio.

Occasional travel may be required.

 

DESIRED PROFILE

Ph.D. in the field of nutrition, biology, biochemistry, or health.

Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking) is required. (French remains the main language)

Experience in scientific consulting for various clients, ideally in the field of health nutrition products, would be an additional asset.

POSITION ORGANIZATION

Full-time permanent position (equivalent to 35 hours) available as soon as possible.

Based in Bruz (35), Ker Lann Campus near Rennes.

Remote work possible up to 2 days per week.

Remuneration: According to the profile and experience.
